{Fix} Netgear Router Password Recovery
NETGEAR recommends that you permit password recovery if you change the password for the router user name admin. Then you can recover the password if it is forgotten. This kind of recovery process is recognized online Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome browsers but not in the Safari internet browser.
To set up security password recovery:
Launch an Net browser from a computer or mobile device that is linked to your router's network.
Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.
A get access window opens.
Your router user name and pass word.
The user name is admin. The default username and password is password. The customer name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Residence screen displays.
Select ADVANCED > Administration > Set Password.
The Set Password screen shows.
Select the Enable Security password Recovery check box.
Choose two security questions and give answers to them.
Just click on the Apply button.
Your changes are salvaged.
